Itinerary

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1 - BUENOS AIRES
Depart Miami for Buenos Aires.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2 - BUENOS AIRES
Transfer to your hotel. In the evening get acquainted with fellow travelers at a welcome dinner. (D)

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3 - BUENOS AIRES
Discover the town where the tango was born. Tour the areas of MicroCenter with the Plaza de Mayo, the political and historic center; LaBoca, a most colorful area; Palermo with beautiful parks and Recolea with its impressive cemetery. (BL)

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4 - BUENOS AIRES
Morning is at leisure to shop and discover this city on your own. Later visit the Malba Museum, and then put on your dancing shoes and learn to tango. Tonight enjoy dinner and a magical tango show. (BD)

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5 - BUENOS AIRES
Spend the day at Santa Susana set amid the pampas outside the city. A gaucho show, traditional horseracing, horse and carriage rides and a traditional Argentinean barbecue highlight your day. (BL)

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6 - IGUAÇA FALLS
Depart for Iguaçu Falls. This afternoon walk the paths and catwalks and experience magnificent views of Iguaçu Falls on the Brazilian side. (BL)

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7 - SALTA
After breakfast depart for the Argentinean Iguaçu National Park where you take the Ecological Jungle Train that leads to the most impressive observation point of the falls, the Devil’s Throat. Later fly to Salta. (B)

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8 - SALTA
Explore the heavenly landscape area of the Quebrada de Humahuaca where the Río Grande flows and where great archaeological beds are found in colorful hills. Get in touch with Hispano- America roots in a landscape made of valleys and narrow paths where Indigenous and Spanish cultures merged. (BL)

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9 - CAFAYATE
Today enjoy another day of spectacular scenery on the way to Cafayate set amid pink, sandy landscape of cactus-doted vineyards. Here enjoy wine tasting and a visit to the art and crafts market. (BL)

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 10 - SALTA
Journey back to Salta with its cloistered nuns and gaucho waiters, gilded churches and mountain mummies. Visit the San Francisco Church and MAAM, a beautifully restored historic building with a collection of Andean textiles and amazingly preserved mummies. Enjoy a cable car ride to the top of San Bernardo Hill for a panoramic view of the Lerma Valley. (BL)

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11 - BARILOCHE
Fly to Bariloche, a city that embodies a strange juxtaposition: an urban city plopped down in the middle of beautiful wilderness. In the afternoon, soak up the beauty of the area on an excursion amongst the forests, lakes and mountains. (BD)

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12 - BARILOCHE
Here’s another day of incredible scenery and a catamaran ride to Arrayanes National Park. (BL)

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13 - EL CALAFATE
Fly to El Calafate. This afternoon’s adventure starts with a walking tour, including bird watching of over 40 migrating species. Stop and watch the Kelpie dogs guiding flocks of sheep from their pastures to the shearing shed. There watch how sheep are shorn and how wool is balled. End the evening with a barbecue. (BD)

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14 - EL CALAFATE
After breakfast travel through the Patagonian steppes to one of the area's most marvelous sights, Perito Moreno Glacier. Watch enormous chunks of ice fall thunderously into the waters of Lake Argentino. This is an unforgettable spectacle. (BL)

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 15 - EL CALAFATE
Today enjoy another fascinating excursion, this time into the Los Glaciares National Park. Travel the waters of Lake Argentino, visiting the Upsala and Onelli glaciers. Enjoy the sight of huge icebergs floating in the lake gleaming in the sunlight. Tonight warm yourself with shared memories at a farewell dinner. (BD)

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 16 - USA
Transfer to the airport for the return flight home. (B)
