THURSDAY, APRIL 10 - LIMA
Depart LAX and arrive Lima. Transfer to your hotel.
FRIDAY, APRIL 11 - LIMA
This morning take an excursion to colonial Lima, visiting the baroque Cathedral; the Plaza de Armas, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; the Government Palace and the Larco Herrera Museum, with the largest collection of pre-Columbian art. (BD)
SATURDAY, APRIL 12- CUSCO
This morning depart for Cusco. In the afternoon tour the Plaza de Armas; the old town with its magnificent colonial buildings; the Sacsayhuaman ruins; Tambo Machay, the Inca’s bath, and the ruins at Puca Pucara. (BL)
SUNDAY, APRIL 13 - MACHU PICCHU
Visit the Pisac Market which is without a doubt one of the liveliest in Peru. Later descend into the Sacred Valley of the Incas and discover the Ollantaytambo ruins, one of the most formidable feats of architecture. Then journey by train to mystical Machu Picchu. (BLD)
MONDAY, APRIL 14 - CUSCO
If you wish, drink in the magic of a sunrise at Machu Picchu. Later on a guided tour learn about this most precious jewel of all Inca settlements. After lunch return to Cusco by train. (BL)
TUESDAY, APRIL 15 - LAKE TITICACA
View Peruvian highlands and admire its breathtaking mountains on your drive from Cusco to Puno. (BL)
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16 - LIMA
This morning visit the floating islands of the Uros Indians made by hand from totora reeds. Journey to the archaeological site of the Sillustani ruins, which are giant cylindrical tombs.Then transfer for your flight to Lima

Fly to Quito known as the Convent of America because of its many beautiful churches and monasteries. (BL)
FRIDAY, APRIL 18 - 20 GALAPAGOS
Fly to Galapagos and board the MV Santa Cruz for the best wildlife viewing in the world. On Espanola, Floreana , Fernandina and Isabela Islands get up close and personal with a wide variety of species, including giant tortoises, marine iguanas, penguins, sea lions, albatrosses, boobies and flightless cormorants as well as others. MONDAY, APRIL 21 - QUITO
Visit Santa Cruz Island, home of the Charles Darwin Research Station. Then fly to Quito. Share fond memories at the Farewell Dinner. (BD)
TUESDAY, APRIL 22 - HOME
Before departing for the States, tour the culturally diverse city of Quito. Then visit the Equatorial Line Monument called Middle of the World. There tour the Ethnographical Museum. (BL)
