WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 31 - HANOI
Explore Hanoi with visits to the Lake of the Restored Sword, the spiritual heart of Hanoi; Ngoc Son Temple; Dong Xuan Market and the Memorial House. Cyclo the Old Quarter with its “36 Streets” named for merchandise traditionally sold there. Enjoy a special New Year’s Eve dinner. (BLD)
THURSDAY, JANUARY 1 - HALONG BAY
Today’s excursion includes the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh House, Presidential Palace, Temple of Literature and the Museum of Ethnology. Then journey out to Halong Bay. (BL)
FRIDAY, JANUARY 2 - SAPA
This morning cruise the magical Halong Bay, a World Heritage site, with 3,000 islands dotting an emerald green sea. Return to Hanoi where you enjoy a Water Puppet show before departing on the overnight train to Sapa. (BLD)
SATURDAY, JANUARY 3 - SAPA
Visit Hamrong and Catcat, an age-old village of H’Mong ethnic group. (BLD)
SUNDAY, JANUARY 4 - HANOI
Tour Sapa, Tavan and Caumay diverse, enchanting hillside communities. Visit the Sapa’s market where colorful H’Mong and Red Dao women come to town to sell their wares. Then take the overnight train to Hanoi (BL)
MONDAY, JANUARY 5 - HUE
Fly to the old imperial city of Hue. Then visit the Royal Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City. This evening dine at a Royal Banquet. (BD)
TUESDAY, JANUARY 6 - HOI AN
Explore the tomb of the emperor Tu Duc before your boat trip on the Perfume River to the Thien Mu Temple, the unofficial symbol of Hue. Depart for Danang where you visit China Beach. After lunch continue onto the picturesque town of Hoi An. (BL)

Spend this morning on a walking and cyclo tour of this most delightful and enchanting riverside town. (BL)
THURSDAY, JANUARY 8 - SAIGON
Before the flight to Saigon visit the Cham Museum with artifacts from the Kingdom of Champa that ruled for 1,000 years. This evening have dinner in the Binh Quoi Village. (BLD)

Explore this Pearl of the Orient on a tour which includes city hall, the historic post office, Notre Dame Cathedral, China town and the Thien Hau Pagoda as well as the Binh Tay Market. (BL)
